A candidate appearing for IBPS exam needs to know the pattern of the exam. The Exam is of objective type consist of 200 Questions covering Quantitative, DI, Verbal / Non Verbal Reasoning Sections.
In the exam there will be 200 question to be answered in 2 hours.Approximately 60 seconds per question. But don't loose hope as it is not possible for most of us to attempt all 200 questions. If a candidate is attempting about 170- 180 questions then its average. If he attempts greater than 185 questions with 90% accuracy then it is excellent.
Now depending upon the candidate's Knowledge, he can either go for verbal/Non verbal Reasoning or Quantitative but one should keep in mind that solving the easiest questions first and questions which require long calculation should be left over. If time permits then should be attempted. DI part in Quantitative is the easiest part and more focus should be brought upon this. Some questions can be orally solved which saves lot of time. So, candidates are requested to take special attention of these.
